Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Clondalkin

Upon arrival, the room was very warm, but adjusting the heating was a challenge. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell as I entered, and the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff members being friendly and helpful but others seemed uninterested. The location was convenient for work trips and accessing transportation options, although getting a taxi to the city center was problematic. The dining experience was expensive, and the menu information was inconsistent. Overall, the hotel had its ups and downs.

The room had a fan which was a great help in the summer heat, but it was far too warm, making it very hard to sleep. The room felt like a converted closet right on the street with no air conditioning, worn-out and damaged furniture. Despite complaining, we were only offered a blower and told to keep the window open, which made it freezing cold.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room was basic but bright and cheery. However, it wasn't ready when I arrived, and it was a bit on the hot side initially. The service was friendly, and the staff at the bar next door were thorough and accommodating. The hotel's location on the outskirts of Dublin was not very accessible, but it was close to Central Dublin and the Crumlin Hospital. The dining experience was average, with a messy and busy atmosphere, and the facilities were sufficient.

The rooms, although lacking a view and experiencing an issue with electricity in one, were very hot, but ultimately comfortable. The location, while not ideal next to a main road, was convenient for accessing the motorway. The dining experience was standard with room for improvement in freshness, but the breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, a decent choice at a great price point.

My stay at the hotel was great! The room provided a good night's sleep, and the next morning, the breakfast was excellent. The value for money was impressive.
